Person working with various companion animals using positive reinforcement

Beyond Dogs

Training for Other Animals

The same science-based, force-free principles that transform dogs work beautifully for cats, birds, rabbits, and more.

Our Philosophy

Behavior Science Has No Species Limit

The principles of operant and classical conditioning — the same psychological foundations behind our dog training — apply to all sentient beings. Whether you have a cat that scratches furniture, a parrot with biting habits, a rabbit that's difficult to handle, or any other companion animal, behavior is behavior.

We use the same positive, force-free approach: reward the behaviors you want, manage and prevent the ones you don't, and build a genuine communication system between you and your animal. No pain, no fear, no force — ever.

Species

Animals We Work With

Cats

Litter box issues, scratching, aggression, fearfulness, carrier training, cooperative care for vet visits, and more. Cats are highly trainable — they just need the right motivation.

Birds & Parrots

Biting, screaming, feather destructive behavior, step-up training, harness training, and building trust with a new bird. Force-free handling makes all the difference.

Rabbits & Small Animals

Handling anxiety, litter training, aggression, and cooperative care. Small animals benefit enormously from low-stress, reward-based training.

Other Companion Animals

If you have a companion animal with a behavior challenge, reach out. If we can help, we will — and if we can't, we'll connect you with someone who can.

Our Commitment

The Same Rules Apply

No Pain. No Force. No Fear.

Every session — regardless of species — is built on trust, clear communication, and positive reinforcement. We never use aversive tools or techniques. We work at your animal's pace, building confidence and a genuine bond between you.
